The US-based company has delivered over 200 <strong>yachts<\/strong>, all of them still afloat, and many with historically important owners.<\/p>\n<p>To redefine the future of <strong>yachting<\/strong>, <strong>Palmer Johnson<\/strong> wanted to create a <strong>yacht<\/strong> faster, more efficient, more stable and more spacious without compromising performance or comfort. The new <strong>Palmer Johnson 48M SuperSport superyacht<\/strong> has achieved this.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cThe idea was to design a next generation <strong>Palmer Johnson superyacht<\/strong> that freed itself from the conventional compromises that<strong> yacht<\/strong> design generally seems to accept,\u201d says Timur Mohamed, owner of the iconic American yacht brand and former first-class cricketer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cUsually, efficient means slow; space and comfort mean a floating home with a forgettable design. Further, we decided to aim for exponential transformations in operational performance and the onboard experience, not incremental improvements.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Finally, Mohamed wanted all this wrapped up in a package that was still recognisable as a muscular, sporty <strong>Palmer Johnson<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>48M SuperSport\u00a0by Palmer Johnson\u00a0<\/strong>is three times more stable than a monohull thanks to its wave piercer displacement hull that reduces pitching and will be more comfortable, with no slamming as <strong>yacht<\/strong> goes through waves and not over them.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>48M SuperSport\u00a0<\/strong>boasts all of the features of the new <strong>SuperSport<\/strong> line with a top speed of 32 Knots, impressive efficiency at lower speeds and is capable of crossing the Atlantic at a speed of 15 Knots<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"style\">Style<\/h2>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">The look of the <strong>48M SuperSport<\/strong>, as well as its properties, was important. This emphasis was part of Mohamed\u2019s desire to \u201cexpose the soul of the<strong> yacht<\/strong> and express it in increasing layers of enjoyment, capturing the intense emotional relationship that one should have with a yacht\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">He believes that while the experience of a boat certainly includes the views from the aft deck or the saloon, it should start when tendering towards it: \u201cAn owner should get goose bumps every time they look at their <strong>yacht<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the new <strong>SuperSport 48M\u00a0by Palmer Johnson<\/strong>, every surface is curved and finely shaped. The <strong>superyacht<\/strong> boasts a sculpted waistline and aggressive flair in the fore section, muscular haunches, a predatory stance and a sleek profile. The clean design hides <strong>yacht<\/strong> handling gear, keeping the decks clear for guests and potential charterers.<\/p>\n<p>The interior space is also impressive with full length windows with open bulwarks in the Salon and Skylounge, enabling an incredible amount of light to permeate the interior, bringing the outside environment it. The Aft decks were also designed for indoor\/outdoor living with sensational views through the haunches.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">As well as the owner\u2019s suite forward on the main deck, with full height windows, there are four guest cabins on the lower deck, as well as a tender garage, toy garage and beach club. There\u2019s a bridge deck with upper saloon, plus a spa pool and optional helms position up top.
