It is a popular choice for buyers looking for an ocean-hopping airplane with a big range \u2014 4,750 nm \u2014 a fabulous cabin and all the latest safety features.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"performance-and-innovation\">Performance and innovation<\/h2>\n<p>Today\u2019s <strong>Falcon<\/strong> jets are designed and manufactured alongside <strong>Dassault Aviation<\/strong>\u2019s fighter aircraft. These versatile, high-performance jets can satisfy the broadest spectrum of business flying needs, from small-airport operations to long international flights.<\/p>\n<p>Since the rollout of the first <strong>Falcon<\/strong> 20 in 1963, nearly 2,400 Falcon jets have been delivered. The <strong>Falcon<\/strong> family of jets encompasses six aircraft, all positioned at the top end of the business jet market. One of them is the outstanding <strong>Falcon 900LX<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Launched at EBACE in May 2008, the 4,750 nm\/8,800 km trijet offers 7% additional range over the <strong>Falcon<\/strong> 900EX. Climb performance is also improved by 10%, allowing the airplane to reach FL390 in just 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Falcon 900LX<\/strong> features 35-40% better efficiency than other airplanes in its class. It can fly from New York to Moscow; Paris to Beijing and Mumbai to London. EASA and FAA certifications were achieved in July of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Falcon 900LX\u00a0<\/strong>can carry 8 passengers with 2 flight crew members 4,800 nautical miles (8,890 kilometres). It is capable of carrying up to 19 passengers in a high density configuration.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Falcon 900LX\u00a0<\/strong> is fitted with three Honeywell TFE731-60 turbofans and with the
