20 years after Porsche mythical model\u2019s debut, the Boxter, the brand comes back with two new models even more powerful and more masculine. This new generation is named Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> or Porsche 718 Boxter S<\/strong> and it perpetuates the four-cylinder flat engine\u2019s tradition.<\/p>\n

New engine with turbocharging<\/h2>\n

While equipping its new Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> models with four-cylinder engine with turbocharging, Porsche becomes more powerful compares to the previous models. Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> now attains 300 hp and Porsche 718 Boxter S 350 hp.<\/p>\n

Both models now attain a more impressive top-speed and faster. The Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> model can achieve 100 km\/h in only 4.7 seconds and the Porsche 718 Boxter S in 4.2 seconds. Their top-speeds reach respectively 275 and 285 km\/h. These supercars are also equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.<\/p>\n

Add to these performances a better agility thanks to the new chassis that enhances cornering performances. Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> becomes more agile and easier to steer, both on circuits and in every-day traffic. The car brings all necessary comfort for long distances but also a dynamic driving experience that we are looking for while buying a German vehicle. Concerning its sportiness, the Sport Chrono Package won\u2019t deceive you, completing the Normal, Sport and Spot Plus modes. A Sport Response Button has been added at the middle of the driving program switch, that improves the responsiveness of the engine.<\/p>\n

A more masculine and sharpened line<\/h2>\n

Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> has had an complete makeover and is now nicely carved. It has much larger cooling air intakes at the front and a distinctive exterior expression. The bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED round the front of the car. From a side view, new styled wings and side sills appear for a more dynamic look, and the door handle recess covers have disappeared.<\/p>\n

An other side of its wide look: the Porsche badge between the tail lights on the Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The interior of the Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> is the familiar Porsche interior environment and reminds us all that the brand ultimate design. However, new components appeared such as the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and its new technologies. Among them, the navigation module with voice control, that makes it easier to drive and more pleasant.<\/p>\n

The Porsche 718 Boxter<\/strong> and Porsche 718 Boxter S<\/strong> will be launched on the European market on April 30. 718 Boxter pricing starts at 53.646\u20ac and 718 Boxter S will be available for 66.141\u20ac.<\/p>\n
