After having gracefully sublimate women\u2019s wrists for more than 20 years, Chanel<\/strong> unveils its first watch for men with a simple and sophisticated name: the watch Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Entirely handcrafted by Chanel<\/h2>\n

Under Nicolas Beau\u2019s supervision, international watch director at Chanel<\/strong>, the watch Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong> has been assembled at La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, where every horological masterpiece were born.<\/p>\n

After more than five years, the first Chanel<\/strong> watch for men has finally been developed, entirely designed and created by the house with a unique movement: the Calibre 1. On the watch Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong>, the Calibre 1 is Chanel\u2019s first \u201cin house\u201d movement, precursor of a promising line. The watch has jumping hours and retrograde minutes, entirely handcrafted, imagined, reinforced and assembled by Chanel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Traditional but contemporary<\/h2>\n

Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong>\u2019s movement includes 170 components and two integrated complications from the platinum. Two circular skeleton bridges emphasize this fine mechanical work and the watch reveals many references to the famous house.<\/p>\n

Among them you can find on Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong> some handcrafted pieces with an octagonal form that reminds the Place Vend\u00f4me in Paris, but there is also a lion on the crown and the buckle, new emblem of Chanel<\/strong> men\u2019s watches, that symbolizes strength and power.<\/p>\n

More than remarkably aesthetic, Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong> is also incredibly powerful with a 3-day power reserve. However, it is still simple to use, a blas for the brand and all its future watches for men.<\/p>\n

Concerning the aesthetic, everything was carefully thought about Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong>, as the choice of the silver dial, that is protected by a sapphire \u201cglace box\u201d. There is also a very singular typography on the hours that will differentiate the watch from any other masterpiece.<\/p>\n

Monsieur de Chanel<\/strong> will be strictly limited to 300 watches: 150 in beige gold priced at $48.500 and 150 in white gold priced at $50.800.<\/p>\n
