A new spearhead has entered Mercedes AMG family: new Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong>, a circuit oriented car but exclusively dedicated to the road. It is the first time that you will find so much sports car technologies in a production car.<\/p>\n

All of that was possible thanks to Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong> new components, such as its twin-turbo engine V8 with 585hp. Add to this new suspension and seven clutch transmission. As for the aerodynamics, rear and front are both wider and the car reveals optimum grip, thanks to the front double diffuser and lightweight tires. A clearly more dynamic and sports oriented driving experience.<\/p>\n

In order to affirm the sport side, new Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong> is also able to reach 0 to 100km\/h in only 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 318km\/h.<\/p>\n

New AMG spearhead<\/h2>\n

New Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong> is clearly different from the other thanks to is more assumed look, build and imagined by Mercedes engineers working in close collaboration with the brand\u2019s designers.<\/p>\n

The circuit directly inspires Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong> colour: called \u201cAMG greenhell magno\u201d, it refers to Notrthloop circuit in Nurburgring. A new bodywork made with carbon and aluminium that also explains its amazing performances.<\/p>\n

What is also new in Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong> is its transmission in transaxle that eases the rear weight-distribution. Coupled with a lower centre of gravity, it made the car able to reach a better cornering speed.<\/p>\n

On Mercedes AMG GT R<\/strong>, forms follow function and function follows forms. All elements have been built to improve the car\u2019s technique and reinforce its dynamism. As a proof, the new Panamericana front grill is referring to the famous race won by Mercedes-Benz 300 in 1952.<\/p>\n
