Some of those vehicles, more than 40, have an estimated price of over a million dollars. A testament of the upscaleness of the event\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gord Duff, Global Head of Auctions, RM Sotheby\u2019s explained : \u201c<em>This is without a doubt one of our most significant offerings to date across all auctions <\/em>[\u2026] <em>We have assembled some of the most desirable and hard-to-find cars on the planet.<\/em>\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separated in three different themed evenings, the event will be held at the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Monterey Conference Center (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.montereyconferencecenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Monterey Conference Center<\/a> : a place often acclaimed by event management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"three-evenings-184-legendary-cars\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Three evenings, 184 legendary cars\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The event kicks off on Thursday. An <em>Aston Martin<\/em> procession, including the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Vanquish Zagato Coupe (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rmsothebys.com\/en\/auctions\/mo19\/monterey\/lots\/r0157-2018-aston-martin-vanquish-zagato-coupe\/792591\" target=\"_blank\">Vanquish Zagato Coupe<\/a> or even the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"DB4 \u201cGT Engine\u201d Series IV (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rmsothebys.com\/en\/auctions\/mo19\/monterey\/lots\/r0097-1962-aston-martin-db4-gt-engine-series-iv\/787200\" target=\"_blank\">DB4 \u201cGT Engine\u201d Series IV<\/a>, will try to seduce the British brand amateurs. However, in spite of this large panel, it\u2019s the 1965 DB5, nicknamed <em>\u201cthe James Bond\u2019s car\u201d<\/em> or even <em>\u201cthe most famous car in the world\u201d<\/em>, which may steal the spotlight\u2026 Introduced in Goldfinger (1964), the exhibited model was used during <em>Thunderball<\/em> promotional campaign in 1965. Among them, the sacred McLaren F1 \u201cLM Specification\u201d, one of the most appreciated sport car in the automotive world, has the most dizzying price of the auction : 23 millions of dollars. With an estimated price of 20 millions dollars, the said vehicle was one of the first car to bear the <em>Porsche<\/em> name.
