Colours bloom at Bentley<\/h2>\n

Ladies, if you get bored during the Geneva Motor Show, do not hesitate to visit Bentley<\/strong>\u2018s booth where you will find a new handbag palette for spring season, silk scarves and vivid leather goods to complement your \u201cBentley<\/strong> style\u201d. Vivid examples of Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s exquisite colour palette bring new haute-couture choices to a woman\u2019s range of luxury accessories.<\/p>\n

The celebration of \u2018pure\u2019 colour extends the collection of two handbag models \u2013 the Continental and the Barnato bags \u2013 with references to Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s signature bespoke hide combinations.<\/p>\n

Concepts of refined luxury inspire a Special\u00a0Ivory derived from Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s 1952 Continental R-Type executed for the Continental handbag model in patent leather with a deep Burgundy interior. The Barnato handbag is now offered in an Imperial\u00a0Blue exterior with Linen panels, a Linen interior accented with Imperial\u00a0Blue pockets, representing the ultimate expression of luxury and refinement in harmony with sea and coastal landscapes, yachting and other leisure pursuits.<\/p>\n

Classical historic colours include Dragon\u00a0Red drawn from the Continental GT\u00a0V8, also executed in patent leather; and Cumbrian\u00a0Green, which glances back to the renowned Bentley<\/strong> Blower model executed in combined patent and smooth leather, thus replicating the traditional 1930\u2019s design where the car body was part paint, part trimmed in leather.<\/p>\n

Further intense colour specifications have been created through the significant expression of combinations evident in Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s model palette. These bespoke pairings reflect a variety of global definitions of luxury taste, matching regional social and cultural values. The colour combinations can also be perceived as \u2018passe-partouts\u2019, or central blocks of colour which are bordered by contrast tones, as a picture in a frame. Such combinations include: Saffron\/Linen, Imperial Blue\/Linen, Portland\/Pillar Box Red, Saddle\/Linen.<\/p>\n

Relevant to Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s extensive current car colours are combinations which express a thematic contemporary fashion statement: Autumn\/light blue (seasonal), Burgundy\/Linen (classic), St James\u2019 Red\/Aquamarine (avant\u2011garde).<\/p>\n

Dr Ariane\u00a0Reinhart, member of the board of Bentley\u00a0<\/strong>Motors, adds: \u201cThe new handbag colours are complemented by the new silk scarves and bring the refined luxury and bespoke elements of a Bentley to a wider female audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The silk scarves depict architectural and natural landscape features in an abstract pattern. Within the scarf images are featured the Jacobean mansion of Crewe Hall, the historic estate of Tatton\u00a0Park and the renowned fa\u00e7ade of Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s factory.\u00a0The pool of colours lifts the traditional silk scarf into a modern interpretation that is full of life.<\/p>\n

In the two colour combinations of blue\/Magenta and orange\/Magenta can be found a compass, a composition of Bentley<\/strong>\u2019s wings logo, a map of the world and a dial from a Bentley<\/strong> dashboard.\u00a0The hand-rolled edge of the scarves is framed by an interpretation of the matrix grille on the front of Bentley models, emphasising the heritage of the brand as a Grand\u00a0Tourer.<\/p>\n
