A renovation from 1991 to 1995 brought about the complete remodeling and modernization of the two buildings. On December 2012, the restoration of the main building was concluded and also remodeled the rooms keeping the traditional style of the hotel.

The decoration of the rooms and suites is unique as it lends an ivory touch to the walls. The furniture is made out of the Brazilian freijó or mahogany wood encrusted in the main suites with beige, green and red pieces of agate. Bathrooms on this floor have specially imported large comfortable American bathtubs and equipped with telephones. The walls and floors are of white, itaóca pink, aurora and jú-paraná pink Brazilian marble.
