L’art vivant et somptueux selon Richard Orlinski

Le sculpteur français Richard Orlinski est né à Paris en 1966. Il devient sculpteur en 2004 pour créer des œuvres d’art autour du concept « Born Wild ».  Un talent hors du commun qui lui permet de devenir en 2010, le deuxième artiste contemporain français le plus vendu.
Inspiré par le pop art,  il utilise des matériaux industriels tels que la résine et l’aluminium utilisés suivant un procédé de fonderie, mais également le marbre, le bronze et la pierre.

Richard Orlinski, un artiste atypique de l’art contemporain

Dans un art loin des conventions, un art de son temps, Richard Orlinski fait partie de ces artistes qui créent des œuvres questionnant les codes de perception de notre société de consommation. Pour cela, il fait usage de démultiplication et de répétition, dénonçant la logique de production en série de l’industrie culturelle.
D’un objet phare, le croco, à des œuvres plus pointues, Orlinski offre un aperçu de ce que l’art contemporain peut proposer. Animal, monumental ou décoratif, ces objets développent un fort impact visuel qui laisse perplexe la question de la perception.
Les œuvres de Richard Orlinski représentent des surfaces lisses et brillantes dans lesquelles notre reflet apparaît.

Panthère et Jean, la sublimation rencontre le mystère

Son œuvre la Panthère est taillée à facettes comme un diamant et possède une tête près de quatre fois plus grosse que dans la réalité. Symbole de mystère de féminité et de sensualité, la Panthère en diamant s’impose comme une évidence de l’art contemporain, entre rapidité et férocité.
C’est en 2008 que Richard Orlinski a l’idée de donner vie au Jean, un des produits phares de la société actuelle. Après deux ans de maturation, l’idée devient création, et le résultat est stupéfiant : des jeans sans socles qui donnent l’impression de marcher.
Dans une œuvre d’art aérienne, les sculptures de jeans sont moulées dans une verticalité vertigineuse. De couleur rouge, turquoise, rose, fushia ou encore argenté, les jeans disposent de nombreux plis, en référence aux mouvements des jambes.

L’originalité de Richard Orlinski est un appel au sens et apporte une bouffée d’air rafraîchissante à l’art contemporain, tout ceci dans un style qui ne cède jamais au trash, à l’extravagance ni au dérisoire.
