Courchevel and its ultra-luxury chalets for 250.000 euros per week

Courchevel 1850, with all its palaces and its 5 stars hotels, may be the most luxurious ski resort  in Europe. Besides these accomodations, Courchevel ski resort offers a whole range of luxurious alpine chalets that can be rent for 250 000 euros per week.

Ultra-luxury alpine chalets

With its 14 five stars hotels, Courchevel offers also some ultra-luxurious alpine chalets to rent, in order to provide to its customers more intimacy, privacy and a familiar ambiance. As Philippe Calmon, CEO of John Taylor France, explains “The Russian customers is mainly  familial, we can easily see up to 3 generations in the same house. It’s a clientele faithful and very demanding.”

By offering this kind of accomodations,  Courchevel has become one of the most valuable ski resort in France for the Russian jet-set, above all to celebrate the orthodox Christmas on 7th of January and the Russian New Year on next 13th of January.

Two ultra-luxury alpine chalets of Courchevel are particularly corresponding to this kind of requests: the “Greystone” and the “Bergerie”. The “Greystone“, next to the center and to the ski trails, is to rent for 40.000 to 150.000 euros per week, according to the period of the year.  Designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, its living area goes on 850 m² and its 6 bedrooms can host up to 12 people. As all these kind of alpine chalets, you will find a movie theatre with a bar, a spa with Jacuzzi, a hamman, a sauna as well as a fitness center.

The “Bergerie” offers a living area of 1.500 m2 and provides an indoor pool (20m x 5 m). This luxury accommodation provides 7 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 14 people, a movie theatre, a fitness centre, and a spa. A high-standing which targets directly the Russian, Brazilian and British billionaires able to spend 230.000 euros for a week during peak season. For the most demanding customers, all these outstanding accomodations provides the services of a team of almost 10 people (chef, housekeeper, caretaker, driver etc.).

Some sale prices going from 5 to 30 millions euros

Some ultra-luxury alpine chalets can also be sold but their prices are very expensive, they can reach 5 to 30 millions euros. These prices can be explained by the rarity of these real estates. Indeed, Courchevel ski resort already counts more than 200 chalets and there isn’t no building land left. To go on building, the promoters have to destroy old chalets to replace them by new ultra-modern accommodations.

If you are interested by an alpine chalet in Courchevel like the Greystone or the Bergerie, we recommend you to hurry up!
