The Bulgari Hotel Roma: Elegance and luxury in the heart of the Eternal City

The name Bulgari immediately suggests elegance, luxury and expertise. With the inauguration of the Bulgari Hotel Roma, this reputation for prestige is now even more deeply rooted in the city where the brand was born, Rome. Nestled in the heart of the Campo Marzio district, on the prestigious Piazza Augusto Imperatore, the Bulgari Hotel Roma is a temple of luxury hospitality.

The Art of Roman Design

The Bulgari Hotel Roma offers an unforgettable stay experience with its 114 rooms and suites, all infused with the soul of the city of Rome. This sense of elegance also extends to its culinary and wellness experiences, which have become emblematic in the world of Bulgari hotels. These include Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the Bulgari Bar, the Lobby Lounge, the Spa, and Bulgari Dolci, Italy’s very first Bulgari chocolate and pastry shop.

The design of the Bulgari Hotel Roma is inspired by imperial Rome, creating a bridge between the glorious past and the refined present. Every detail of this establishment impeccably embodies this unique heritage, resulting in a contemporary elegance deeply rooted in Romanity. With its 114 suites, spa, swimming pool, gym and library dedicated to the history of jewelry, the hotel is also home to the magnificent Bulgari Suite, offering a breathtaking view of the mausoleum of the Emperor Augustus. The Bulgari Bar and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito are also a must for fine dining enthusiasts.

Majestic architecture

The ACPV ARCHITECTS team, led by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, took on the challenge of reinterpreting the Bulgari Hotel Roma in harmony with the distinctive aesthetics of the Bulgari brand. They used imperial marble in a contemporary way, employing large blocks of color evoking the identity of Roman jeweler Bulgari. The result is a 1940s building transformed into a modern monument, a true work of art.

The Wellness Sanctuary

The Bulgari Spa, a true temple of well-being, recalls the atmosphere of ancient Roman thermal baths. Marble columns rise majestically from the pool, while colorful stained-glass windows bathe the space in soft, warm light. With a surface area of 1,500 square meters, the Spa is a peaceful oasis for rebalancing body, mind and soul. It features eight treatment rooms, a Spa Suite equipped with a green onyx bathtub, and a 20-meter indoor pool adorned with shimmering mosaics inspired by motifs from the famous Caracalla Baths. Exclusive spa treatments, designed by Augustinus Bader, guarantee an exceptional relaxation experience. In addition, the fitness center, salon and Workshop Gymnasium training method, developed exclusively for Bulgari by Lee Mullins, complete the wellness offering.
