The Hotel de Paris: A new design for this hotel in Saint-Tropez
Built nearly 80 years ago, the Hotel de Paris has been for a long time a reference in the tropézienne night life before closing its doors in 1992. Last March, this monument of Saint-Tropez has reopened after a very original renovation.
Two years of work were needed to restore the hotel under the direction of architect’s office François Vieillecroze accompanied by the interior designer Sybille de Margerie. The 52 rooms and 38 suites decoration enhances the colorful world of Saint-Tropez but also the original universe of the 70’s that largely influenced the hotel’s history. But despite a retro look, comfort is the key word for all rooms and they are equipped with the latest high-tech features.
Three dining areas, the Suffren by Georges Café, Atrium Bar and Lounge Spirit welcome the Hotel de Paris visitors. Relaxation areas have also been set up with a suspended pool hang up 15m from the ground, a Clarins spa and gym.
