The Falcon 900LX

The Falcon 900LX is the latest entry in Dassault’s lineup of triengine, wide-body, long-range business jets. It is a popular choice for buyers looking for an ocean-hopping airplane with a big range — 4,750 nm — a fabulous cabin and all the latest safety features.

Performance and innovation

Today’s Falcon jets are designed and manufactured alongside Dassault Aviation’s fighter aircraft. These versatile, high-performance jets can satisfy the broadest spectrum of business flying needs, from small-airport operations to long international flights.

Since the rollout of the first Falcon 20 in 1963, nearly 2,400 Falcon jets have been delivered. The Falcon family of jets encompasses six aircraft, all positioned at the top end of the business jet market. One of them is the outstanding Falcon 900LX.

Launched at EBACE in May 2008, the 4,750 nm/8,800 km trijet offers 7% additional range over the Falcon 900EX. Climb performance is also improved by 10%, allowing the airplane to reach FL390 in just 20 minutes.

The Falcon 900LX features 35-40% better efficiency than other airplanes in its class. It can fly from New York to Moscow; Paris to Beijing and Mumbai to London. EASA and FAA certifications were achieved in July of 2010.

The Falcon 900LX can carry 8 passengers with 2 flight crew members 4,800 nautical miles (8,890 kilometres). It is capable of carrying up to 19 passengers in a high density configuration.

The Falcon 900LX  is fitted with three Honeywell TFE731-60 turbofans and with the EASy II avionics in the cockpit.
