One of the first supercars

The Lamborghini Miura Spinto Veloce’s chassis was displayed in Geneva in 1966. It represented all the youthful and passionate spirit at that time, transcribes in the most beautiful body ever designed.

With its V12 engine she was then a poster child for an entire generation and was seen in famous garages such as the garage of Frank Sinatra or Miles Davis. The car’s design is extremely precise in every detail, as the door’s sensuously curved shape and its pop-up headlights that seem to flood out the driver’s compartment. It is the same exclusive design that gave birth to the word “supercar” speaking of the Lamborghini Miura SV.

Its muscular and sensual shape evolved over the years to become the most advanced car: the Spinto Veloce. Revised suspensions helped to remove the “front-end lightness”, specific of the previous models and the body was enlarged which offered to the car a more aggressive position. But the most remarkable evolution concerns the engine and its larger carburettors that make the car handier at lower speeds. The engine produces a 385 brake horsepower, incredible performances for a Spinto Veloce that can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph.
