Corum unveils the Ceramic Golden Bridge

Corum reissues its famous GoldenBridge. Transparency is still in place but this time, it is ceramic that is dressing this elegant and original watch. Ceramic is one of the most difficult materials to work on, which clearly gives this watch a premium finishing touch.

The Golden Bridge Ceramic is a real masterwork combining both know-how and an acute sense of aesthetics. It is necessary to inject raw materials with the precision of the goldsmith as well as leather down to the second in order to reach the final 34 x 51mm size of this remarkable watch.

The architecture of the calibre dates back in 1980 and is truly is a model of precision. Constructed on a vertical axis, the whole mechanism traverses the watch from midday to 6 o’clock, lining-up with the crown.

Very few watches reach such a high level of transparency and in this case, it is even more accentuated by the absence of a dial. The whole set is sublimated by an elegant alligator leather strap fitted with a PVD-coated pin buckle.
